Absolute Humidity

Relative humidity is not widely understood as the term implies hot and wet, yet it can also mean cold and wet or hot and dry. This application shows with accuracy how a high RH does not mean the air is wet and vice versa that a low RH does not mean that the air is dry . The app shows through interaction how the percentage of Relative Humidity in the atmosphere is controlled by heat as hot air has the ability to contain a higher water content than cold air.
